Eyes Half Way Collage

After doing a series of drawings, my third graders created these portrait collages. During the lesson, we discussed the proper placement of the eyes when creating a portrait. Most beginning artists (adults too) incorrectly place the eyes higher on the forehead when drawing a face. Take a moment to notice that eyes are indeed half way between the top of the head and the bottom of the chin. Nice job creating these collages third graders! MANY people in our school have stopped to tell me how much they are enjoying your work. Bravo!
