Kindergarten

Kindergarten Art students explore numerous art supplies and techniques. While in the art room, these young artists practice good work habits and safe use of all art materials.

Kindergarten students will:

• receive their Peter Noyes sketchbook!
• This special sketchbook will be filled with observations and memories during the six years that the student attends Peter Noyes.  The sketchbook will be sent home, to be treasured forever, at the end of fifth grade.
• use clay to create handmade, glazed texture pendants.
• explore the brushstroke with both tempera and watercolor paint.
• be introduced to Color Theory and color mixing with paint.
• create two dimensional artwork using various collage techniques.
